At least she had the good grace to look embarrassed And luckily for her the raptors are still in their pen..... Chickens and dogs - worse than toddlers! At least you can send them to playgroup..... Typical isn't it once you get them the questions start rolling. Looking at your lovely (but daft) dog trapped behind that netting, it's a question about the netting. Do you leave your chickens unattended behind it, or just when you are in the garden and about. I have made a run, which is 2m x 7m with three chickens, but they are already making big progress at eating everything, (I thought it would keep them going for 6 weeks, but now I can see not, so I was thinking of extending it but didn't know whether something like that would be suitable. They are well protected at the moment, but didn't know whether mr fox would have difficulty with the netting because it moves so much. Any advice would be appreciated. many thanks. Hello and soit le bienvenu! I doubt that the netting would stop a hungry fox for even a minute. I recommend spending some time reading on this forum about the experiences of others. Got an absolute bargain yesterday 28 x 2m metal curtain poles for the equivalent of 10 pence each so bolting those together to make a lovely frame, and covering properly with fox proof netting. a bientot.
