GSDs have a very strong guarding instinct and like all dogs are very much aware of body language and changes in the tone of voice and bright dogs pick up on certain key words in a sentence so it does sound as though they understand every word you say, particularly if you say the sentence in the same way each time. That special bond between you and your dog is like no other making you feel very safe and secure. Loved the video and those adoring eyes.
