I normally don't win anything, now i've won something I didn't even know I was trying to.

Just had a call from the Welsh rugby union and my membership number was picked out of a ballot and I have to 2 complimentary tickets to the grand slam concert on bank holiday Monday. Cool, Sterophonics, Feeder etc.

Typical....first time I have won something and we've just had someone come round to remind us of the village fete/funday which just happens to be on the 26th as well.

It was the whole point of moving to a place like this so we could get involved more in the community so guess I won't be going to the concert after all.

I don't usually win at anything....but....went to a plant fair/brocante a couple of weekends ago and won a box of seed potatoes with my entry ticket. That was great ......BUT.....it gave me the perfect excuse to go out and buy a ROTOVATOR The OH has just got to put it together now and get digging!

What a bummer . Can't you fit both in somehow?

I wish....but not possible. Fete starts at one and concert gates open at two. Cardiff is a good hour and a half from us so it would be a bit of a push.
