Our first girls arrived a year ago today

 

Little did we know how much they would change our lives:-

 

Found loads of friends on here

fresh egs in abundance - meaning loads of baking etc I may be a couple of pounds heavier now

loads of poo for the veggies

hours of entertainment

 

and the list could go on

I couldnt agree more . I cant imagine our world without chooks now.

 

Doesnt a year fly by?

 

People without chickens are really missing out!

Happy anniversary Liz! We've only had ours a few weeks and already can't remember life without chickens.

For me it will be a month tomorrow. Was pretty worried and nervous.

 

All my girls are so lovely and two started laying eggs in only 11 days. Love to let them out to free range every day as I do for as long as possible, usually up to an hour. Only wish that Mr Fox would permit free ranging all the time.

 

Such sweet wannabee dinosaurs.
