Chooks Aloud
Hubby is suffering at the moment with sciatica. Several years ago I got a book from the library which told you which pressure points to press to relieve this. I can't find it there now. I can remember he had to lie face down and I had to press either his hand or his arm somewhere. It really hurt him and he moaned, but low and behold the next day he was pain free in his back. Does anyone know where I have to press? Karen
Ain't Nobody Here
I'm sorry I have no idea but a quick search on google came up with * this diagram *. Bear in mind that's just off the internet so unless you're confident that you recognise the spots that you tried before, I'd tread carefully (not on your poor OH, obviously) . Chooks Aloud
I've already spent ages on the net looking at various sites without much success - thought I'd try you clever lot; someone always comes up with something. Thanks anyway. Karen
Egluntyne
Is it shifting the bags of manure that did it?
Chooks Aloud
Ssshhhh don't let him know that, I wont get anymore. No - he drives a lot so is in one position for a long time. Karen
chili pepper
Haven't any advice I'm afraid but just to say that my Hubby suffered with sciatica a few years ago, we took him to an Osteopath in the end, expensive but worth it. Wishing your Hubby well.
craftyhunnypie
Hi - my advice would be to buy a little tens machine from Boots. My mum had a slipped disc years ago & it is the only thing that can relieve her sciatica pain these days. It's not a cure, as the damage is done, but she swears by her tens.
