Paola Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 Our nine month old Main Coon cat Azlan has brought home two dead chicks (chicken) One today and the other a couple of days ago They had just started to grow there grown up feathers on there wings I know he is only acting on instinct but I am a little miffed that whoever owns the chicks are not protecting them well enough Surely if he can get them then Mr Fox will also have a good chance I live on a new build estate and know of "Ooops, word censored!"ody else who keeps chickens He also brought home a duckling the other week Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Olly Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 how awful. I mean, it's horrid when they catch birds anyway but as a chicken-keeper yourself, you must feel even worse. The owners isn't protecting them, though. If your cat can get to them, then so can a fox. In fact perhaps the fox has already had the others.
