I have been in touch with a local forum member who got his eglu delivered with hens, according to the AA routemaster he lives 17 miles further away from Omlet HQ than I do, & a further 23 minutes drive.

So theoretically I am nearer than he is in both time & distance.

I emaiiled Omlet last night about this, but only after office hours, & so telephoned them just now.

They are really sorry but they can't bend the rules for me

Also, they quoted me a £35 for the delivery of a reconditioned cube, but a new one only costs £25 delivery

Doesn't sound right to me. I know that their delivery goes on postcode, but that's all I know.
