"M" or "H" xD-picture card for digital c

Recommended Posts

I currently have "M" type xD picture cards for my Finepix F10 digital camera. I want to get some more for our holiday this year.

Does anyone know if I can use an "H" type xD picture card instead? I believe "H" is faster than "M" - am I right? I'm happy to get more of the "M" type but if "H" is better and still compatible, I'd go for that.

I know there'll be an Omleteer out there who knows about this stuff :D .

Funny that you should post this, we need to know what type we can get for two Finepix A202 digital cameras that we bought from Ebay for our 2 girls. ED will be taking her's on her whistle stop tour to Eurodisney in July and will need bigger than the 16mb one that came with it.

We have got an E550 ourselves and that has an 'M' type 1G card.

One of the cameras has a 256mb card in it but it doesn't say what kind it is, we could do with another like it.

Funny you should post this too  . Guess what camera I bought from Ebay for my boys last year - yup, Finepix A202 :D .

I've looked at the card in it and it's just a 64MB (no letter). It's not got a huge capacity but it did him in Spain recently.

I've now got three 16MB cards which are worse that useless, they're so small  .

I could try putting the M card from my F10 camera in the A202 if you'd like to know if it works?

Here's a link to a table showing capacity for different size cards ....
