Mrs Frugal
Oh bless their little starfish feet. They are so lucky to have a loving new home. What moving photos, especially the sunbathing one. Brought a tear to my eye.

Guest
what wonderful photos, doesn't it do your heart good to see them already relaxing and taking it easy
shaun
Great pics - I got my girls from the Sussex rescue and they are doing great. Also, from talking to colleagues at work about my new obsession, two of them are already talking about getting some girls for themselves! Spreading the word of the BHWT = more girls being rescued! Rhapsody
Just telling OH about your Rock chicks and he suggested that if you get any more that you should call them Satriani and Vai I wanted to call one Vai but my kids kept forgetting the name- Phillistines! I'm sorry to tell you all The Edge is being bullied mercilessly and spends most of her day cowering in the Eglu

The Dogmother
Lucky girls Rhapsody, and lucky you too - having the honour of caring for them. I have been on lots of rescues/re-homings and I must say that their condition is among the worst I have seen; it even made me feel sad, and I try not to get emotionally involved at rescues. I look forward to meeting them later in the summer, when they will no doubt be sprouting their new summer collection of feathers. Try them on chick crumbs for the extra protein.
