what did i just say of course this was a joke i was just asking i mean my cockrell is enjoying himself outside with his girls.. i would never harm a animal wether it be a spider

 

the problem is Syed that the joke(s) isn't in very good taste . I think you need to be a bit more sensitive when it comes posting things like this. It doesn't help that in big capital letters, at the bottom of your first post, you have put 'NO JOKES', suggesting you are serious. The written word can easily be misinterpreted, and you have to remember that this is a family forum that is primarily used by people who keep chickens etc as pets. The other thing you have to remember is that there is a very remote chance that somebody may come along and read such a post and then decide to try it out.

(I trust you will not be offended by the above, it is meant in the best possible way).

We do make jokes Syed, in fact we have a terrific collective sense of humour....but we never joke about mutilating animals because it is not a laughing matter.

Syed, as Claire said; it's easy to misunderstand the written word - it is missing the expressions that can be more easily read in face to face conversation.

 

Perhaps if you explained your circumstances and set up to us, and we got to know you more, we'd find it easier to understand your intentions.

 

Any way, we're all dying to know whether you're hatching dinsoaurs or not!
