wombatally Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Hi I hate fancy dress [arties but I have to go to one next weekend and the theme is 'Rock and Horror'. I am completely stuck. I don't want to waste money on a costume so need something easily adapted. There are already loads of frankinsyeins, new romantics and rocky horrors so that's out. OH wants to go as the McCartneys pre divorce and is suggesting ideas for my heather - but I think it may offend. Any ideas pleeeease?! We are designing the invitations and are wording it as 'Jan & John's 80th birthday party. We are having an 80's theme, etc. Hubby is either going as Boy George or Adam Ant. I don't think that the Heather and Paul theme would offend. We have had some strange examples of dressing up that is perfectly acceptable at a party but wouldn't be considered otherwise.
