mand and family
Hi everyone Just a quick question about the sprays. I've noticed a few lice on my chucks and have put some d. earth in their dust baths but they don't seem interested. I know the lice can't be good for them any ideas? I forget to mention that three of my chucks are ok at being handled, but the other three well! even the kids cannot catch them!. Trying to get them used to me etc, but still early days. But anyway I went to buy some spray today, looked at the bottles and put them back . One said 'extra' on it and the other mentioned about other insects which one is it ???? or shall I try somthing else. The man in the pet shop couldn't help cause it was for chickens. Egluntyne
Johnson's Anti mite spray is very good. Why not take them out of the Eglu at night and spray them whilst they are drowsy. If you have help it will be dead easy.

Gamebird
The one I buy has a blue background with a picture of 3 budgie type birds (sorry to offend budgie owners) and says Johnson's anti-mite & insect spray on the front - then 3 red bullet points saying * Kills Mites & Lice * For cage birds e.g. Budgerigars etc. etc. * Contains natural biodegradable Pyrethrum Hope this helps. mand and family
Hi everyone Thanks eveyone for the replies and yes it does help. Its a shame the others are not so tame because it means (or I fell) they don't get as much care and attention as the others! ie noticing problems etc. Hope they soon get used to us all. I don't think my OH will help much he's not that interested in them but if they are drowsy I think that will help me.
