orange poo in nesting box

Recommended Posts

They only arrived today so imagine no to the carrots question! I also have no idea if it was a softie without the yolk - it wasn't very big...just like a normal poo, but orange. :? I guess I leave it and worry about it if I get lots more...?

I'm one of those people who likes to know what's what all the time - that's my trouble

Every 10th poo (roughly) is from a different part of the gut called the caecum, and it is smelly and resembles chip shop curry sauce.....also known as the "Korma" poo. :D

You may find that the new arrivals are a bit squittery for the first few days, it is just the upheaval of the move and they should settle down quite quickly.

Just keep them on pellets and water for the first few days and it should sort itself out.

If the Eglu is on grass, they may also get the runs as they haven't been used to eating it.

Best not to overdo it with the treats till they have settled, although it is tempting to give them, especially in the early days.
