Obviously need new ones with having the chickens. Thought it might be the best idea to stop the girls kicking the soil and bark all over the lawn. Or has anyone different ideas. Stevie Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Gravel boards used for fencing are ideal for this with the additional bonus that they're considerably lighter and cheaper! Checkout your local Homebase/B&Q,Focus etc-they cost around £4 for a 6ft length and will just need a couple of screws at the ends to fix them together.
