karlotta
Ordered my cube today, so as I begin a very impatient wait, i thought i'd share some pics of my current 'flock!' This is Lola my 4yr old Newfoundland (rather wet in this pic!) And this is Martha who's nearly 18 months Little bit different to Chickens, but just as cute! karlotta
Thanks all!! They really do love water! I've just been out in the rain to the New Forest to take them for a nice paddle! Think I got almost as wet!
chucknette
They are beautiful Karlotta I bet you all look impressive when you are out in the new forest! I should imagine people just stop and stare, they are magnificent dogs. Do they take long to dry?
karlotta
Not too long... they have a waterproof coat so it mostly dries off pretty quick!
little chickadee
wow How much do they eat? ! ?
karlotta
Again not too bad! I reckon with buying food in bulk it comes to about £1 a day (plus treats etc). More for Martha as she's still growing (65kg and counting!) It's the hoovering, mopping, brushing, washing walls etc that takes the time! Martha's losing her coat at the mo (puppy and winter coat all in one go)... it's so drastic it's known as blowing coat! I've brushed out enough each day this weeek to make a whole new dog every day!! Plus you don't even want to see my kitchen floor! 8 huge muddy feet padding about after tramping round the garden! Love 'em though!
