4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I posted a comment yesterday saying that we hoped to have our first eggs in the next 3 -4 weeks, do you can imagine my surprise when i got up this morning to let the chooks out, and there was a small squigy egg in their eglu!! I think French must have laid it, as her comb is redder than Saunders.

 

Unbelievable, we only had to wait 10 days for our first eggs!!

 

I'll let you know when Saunders lays her first egg, and I shall put pictures up soon!

You know i said we found our first egg, well when i arrived home from school today, can you imagine my surprise when i opened up the hatch to find the Saunders had laid her first egg. Couldnt believe it! Both the hens had laid their first eggs within 24 hours of each other!
