Guest
Normally the boys school has their sporsts day mid-june, and we always sit shivering, saying 'would have been better having it last month - May is always nice.....' So this year, sports days are meant to be tomorrow and Friday, and there is blumming GALES forecast......

Cate in NZ
Look, matey, I got a bit of a suntan on my Scottish skin last week (normal colour - blue..... ) To match your eyes then Shona Good luck with the gales for sports day. Maybe they'll postpone it if the weather's too bad. At least by planning it early there is still time for postponing and rescheduling it before the end of term. The weather is just so unpredictable at the moment though
Popcorn
Do they still do the egg and spoon race Shona?

The weather is just so unpredictable at the moment though I think that's why they scheduled them so early this year, it's still a pain though, as chookiehubbie has taken holidays so he can go to them both, and now he can't change his holidays so I'll have to put up with him under my feet instead! Cate in NZ
I see the problem Shona. I get so irritated when hubby has an extra day off work..... he can actually see how fast I can whizz through the housework, and how much time I devote to "working" on the forum
