MaggieMcHen
Can anyone tell me how to change the title of a posting? The reason I ask is that if I update a post (of my own) that was started some while before, the title would often be better if it were updated too. I have seen some posts that have (I think) been modified after a while but can't work out how to do it. Many thanks in advance.
Lapinou
Click on edit in the op, then you can change whatever you want
The Dogmother
No problem Maggie - the post and its title can only be edited by the original poster. At the top of your post, you will see an edit button, click on that and you can edit the post or the title. We ask posters to try not to edit the contents of their posts as the subsequent posts then don't make sense and the context of the thread is altered. If you're having problems editing it, PM me with a link to the post and I will change it for you.
MaggieMcHen
My main reason for editing the title was only for updating purposes when relevent, and I have just realised that the one I was trying to update wasn't my posting but it was my very fulsome answer about the Cube run door conversion that I have done and where to find the bits etc. with the 'door' side hung, not hinged down. I have done my own posting now and will try and keep it at the top of 'Cubes and Eglus' as it will be relevent for many people until Omlet build a bigger door for us mortals
The Dogmother
Perhaps you ought to send Johannes a link to it.
