Hi, I just came on to ask some lawnmower advice and 2 hours on I'm just getting round to it and I'm considering Crocs!

My Flymo hover mower has broken, and my fall back (borrow my mum's) is not an option as hers has just broken too! (also a Flymo hover) I've been looking and think that I will get a Qualcast Power Trak 34. It is a rotary mower, not a cylinder, seems to have good reviews and is around the £100 or less mark.

Has anyone used one or got a lawn mower that they would recommend in that kind of price bracket.

Now Crocs. Criteria, Easy to slip on, keep feet dry on wet grass, suitable for jumping on and off narrow boat. I might also wear them to work, for this reason I am thinking of getting black ones. (I wear a suit for work)

Which Crocs would you recommend please? I think I've narrowed it down to Endeavor, Cayman, Celeste, Alice, Mary Janes, Prima or Professional

sorry, can't help on the Crocs question!

I've got a Qualcast Easi-Trak 320 mower, which I've had for about 18 months. I wish the box was bigger, as it needs emptying quite frequently, but it does the job for me, although I should say that my lawns are a bit rough anyway, not bowling-green standard by any means. Here it is on Amazon, for £64.95.

I've just bought the same mower as Olly to replace my flymo compact and it is sooooo much better. My lawn isn't the best but it cuts really well. I think it depends what size your lawn is - have a look at the qualcast website http://www.qualcast.co.uk/rightmower/ as it's got the best ones for different size lawns on there.

I paid £64.00 for mine from Amazon and got free delivery and it was here within 3 days. The same one is £99 in B&Q at the moment.

Caymans are fantastically comfy, but Mary Janes would look better with a suit I reckon.

I've got an ancient Qualcast electric mower which was my fall back and has outlasted 2 petrol mowers. I use it all the time now.

I did once mow over the cable but apart from that, it refuses to die.

Whatever you go for, I suggest that you get the powered version, and not one that you have to push hard....save your energy and your back. :D

Thanks for your input on Lawnmower and crocs.

I've ordered the Bosch Rotak 320. I believe it is identical to the Qualcast Easi Trak 320 - I got it for £60 new on Amazon. Fingers crossed it comes by Saturday!

Re Crocs, not ordered yet, I want to try them on somewhere, haven't looked in town yet. Think I'll get black Mary Janes for now, and maybe a bright pair of Caymans at a later date.

Hi

Sorry I can not advize on th crocs as only got one pair and they are the originals.

As regards a lawnmower have a look at B & Q you can get a cheap one from there we buy a cheap push one for about £20 to £30. Or look at Argos as there is a Summer clearance at the moment so you could look there.

Or get the hens to do it!!!!

What ever you get it will be the best for the money where ever you buy it.

Have fun

Best regards

Don't forget with Caymans to go for the shoe size bigger than you normally take. They will seem too big at first, but it is right. :D

I just take my normal size. See which is best for you, as you should have 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of space at the back of your foot when you push your toes to the front. :D
