I am totally loving hemcore!

Here is my PP Buttercup. I think she is a bit older than the other two and may be coming into lay (reddening up, croutching) any ideas on age?

By the size and colour of their wattle/comb i would say around 18 weeks old. They're still quite pale and small, but should redden up in 2-3 weeks.

Great photos by the way and i like the idea of zip tying the plastic edging to the run. They're good looking chookies! :D

Fabulous run. We've spent the weekend making a permanent bark chipping base for our girls, except I underestimated how many bags of chippings we need, so we're off to Homebase later if OH is feeling better (he's poorly today :( )

So how many eggs do you think you'll get from the odd looking birds in your second picture?
