Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

I have had a lovely day in the garden. I was helping OH to lay paving slabs next to the chooks run to put my new greenhouse which arrived yesterday. The weather has been glorious here, far too hot for me. The girls have loved lying out in the hot sun watching whilst we worked.

 

My picture is almost complete . . . . . eglu with greenhouse next door. Just the roof and glass to go in now.

 

Children have been pottering about too. My son ( has developed a real liking for the hens and has been in and out of their run most of the day. He's delighted he's able to pick them up confidently now!

 

A blissful day including picnic too!!!

Lovely day here ....too hot for me. Being on the ginger side of the hair colour spectrum I have to be very careful.

 

Visited a friend I haven't seen for a couple of years this aft. Lovely.Yapped for ages.

When can expect your friend on the forum talking about her chickens

It was so nice today, I was out digging and clearing weeds to extend my vegetable garden since 7. I had my 3 original girls and rabbits roaming around from 7 till 7 - then let the ex-batts have the opportunity to go in the garden - but they only went a few steps out of the run - so I sat with them for about an hour.

 

So I had a very good day - and just realised I have burnt my back even though I tried to dig the shady bits!

I took her some eggs.

 

She is very tempted. We did talk chicken and she's coming over soon so she will get the "tour".

 

We may see her on the forum yet.
