Guest
Well we are doing that holiday activity again, shopping! One place we took James today was Lakeside, partly to stock up on toiletries for the holiday and partly because we know there is always stuff on for kids at Lakeside. First we treated him and took him to Ikea (where we didn't buy ANYTHING!). He went in the play place and then had meatballs. Then we went over to the shopping centre. Now the avatar you see here was a snap taken at Lakeside when he was doing an Easter activity. Today was arts and crafts. They had kids making panda faces on plates and windmills. He did both but also did another plate - his own idea. It's our JUNE! He pointed out to me a "red hen with a black tail" (the batty girls are red hens with white tails). Heres a picture of the real thing to show you how gifted he is. He then ran the picture over to show the man on the stand, who said he should write her name on the back. So he did - writing is a skill he has struggled with but he's getting there now!

Somehow they still got a Pass for OCR though.... I knew it was a chicken too - often his pictures need explanation but this one didn't - other than him telling me it was June, but I'd sussed that too as he always hears me telling my hen party people that June has a black tail whilst the batty's have white. Guest
I have some T shirt pens that we will try on a rainy day. Tomorrow he is doing tie dye at the country club so will get some artistic input. Actually he has been doing loads of hama bead stuff there and has just made "Hannah" (his girlfriend!) without looking at any pattern etc. I always loved arts and crafts when I was a kid too but I don't relly think I'm very artistic.
