Recommended Posts

Get the kettle on for everyone then hadn't I :)

What has everyone got planned today?

Im driving the 1.5 hours to work :( But I do work in a lovely converted barn :)

made my lunch in a small kilner jar (tuna pasta salad, houmous, taramasalta, lettuce, cherry toms, cucumber). earl grey t-bags are packed.

I spent a good 15 mins with the chooks this morning, feeding them the veggy s"Ooops, word censored!"s from lastnight. and I am hoping to get to work before 8am so I can leave work early to enjoy the day :)

Lucky you Kaz :D

I am going to be moping around feeling sorry for myself.

Been up since 2am being sick,so I am feeling very delicate indeed :?

I still have to do Tesco, but I may do that online to save having to go out

Luckily I did a lot of chores yesterday,so I can afford to relax a bit :D

Poor puddy cat :(

Driving in this morning we saw a lovely ginger tom on the A281 laying in the middle of the traffic (cars swerving around him).

So we turned around went back, and i carried him to the side of the road. (He must have past away over an hour ago).

I am not trying to work out who to contact. so the owners will know (no collar).

I have the Horsham district council website, but i cant find a link..

any ideas?

Hope you feel better soon Cinnamon I was a bit poorly last weekend with food poisoning so know how you feel............I would order your shopping online much safer.

I am off for a girly day shopping with Emily and hope to buy myself lots of things and have a nice lunch out..........Then later on my friend is coming over for dinner and lots of drinks.

Sorry Kaz I haven't a clue who to contact about the poor pussy cat I do hope you manage to find the owners.............. :( Good for you rescueing him out of the road while others just drove around him.

Up first at 6.43 Kaz? - I don't think so :wink::lol:

Mel will have done half a days work by 6.30 and so will Carl and I - piggies, 19 chickens and 2 ducks to feed

I could do with some shortbread now though - just been cleaning all the floors - not an easy job when you can't kneel down. And, I had cramp in the night and still can't put my foot to the floor properly :( Previous night, I was up feeling very sick as well Nicola and Sarah - there was no need to pass it through the forum Nicola :?

I beat you too Kaz  . I'm up well before that every day as there is so much cooking and baking to do for a family who love their homemade food and drinks!

Hope you're better soon Lesley, Nicola and Sarah. Take it easy!

Off to finish cooking up a storm in the kitchen then I'm weeding the vegetable garden this afternoon while the sun's shining - peas and beans growing away nicely!

Must admit I'm up before that every morning as well, husband to get off to work, children to get off to school, chickens, cats... the list is endless.

Have to admit though 6.30am-6.50am is a good time to browse to forum, as there aren't too many replies popping up whilst you browse and it is the only time I get to go on one of the 3 computers in our house

I have to wait till I am at work otherwise.

I've got to go and shift a bit more of the topsoil heap now - it's down from 10 tons to about 4 tons but having kidney stones put paid the moving any more. I feel better now though so I'd better shift some more :( All our veg are so late this year :?

Kate, you'll need some of Kaz's shortbread before you go gardening - it's very nice. :D
