Guest
Off on our holiday tomorrow - we sail on Friday but are going to spend tomorrow night at my Aunties in Boscombe so we can see Granny (recently moved down there) on Friday morning and arrive at Southampton not only earlier than usual but without a child who has been shut up in a car for 3 hours (he has too much energy to burn after that journey!). Not a single thing is packed yet, spent today sorting out the garden, pets etc. The lady who is coming to feed the cats and hens seems lovely but of course my Bunny has gone boody again!!! She's spending the night in the broody cage. I also reinforced the fence at the back of the chicken run as nextdoors Jack Russell seems to be on a mission to break in and eat my girls. They will be shut in that run for the next fortnight (although someone pointed out it's the size of the garden in my old house!). But I did also manage to fit in an Aqua aerobics session and take James swimming today. Tomorrow I've got him booked in from 10 till 4 at the club so that we can pack in peace and then pick him up to take him straight there - minimises the chances of us loosing our temper with him when he tries to "help" us pack. Still got a million and one things to do.....

Guest
oh yes the forum and the Scrabulous (only 100 points behind RevNev again!) But I WILL NOT make a list - Mum does lists and I HATE them. She had even written one for me this mornign

Guest
ooooh did I mention There are a pile of clothes hanging in a spare room ready to be packed, including my OMLET T SHIRT! So look out for pics. If Mum was any good with the camera I would get her to take one of me as we sail past the statue of liberty. But she probably would miss off the statues head or sommat! Oh and an Omlet bag for my cousins wife - who is having an op just before we get there. A lump being removed, so she is pretty down at the moment and knowing she is very "hippychick" I think a funky Omlet bag for her shopping is an appropriate pressie! Egluntyne
Packing? You only need a toothbrush, a pair of flip flops, a bottle of Ambre Solaire and a thong.! Have a wonderful time.
Guest
Packing? You only need a toothbrush, a pair of flip flops, a bottle of Ambre Solaire and a thong.! Have a wonderful time. ROFL - You do know I'm going on the Queen Mary 2 don't you? I have 8 formal dresses!!! Also a thong is NOT a good look - I may be a size 10/12 but losing 10 1/2 stone in 10 months leaves a LOT of loose saggy skin and whilst I look good in clothes I do not look good out of them - even a swimsuit is a bit revealing. I have taken up bikini gardening BUT I still have "3 tummies" and look like the michelin man!!! I've got up this morning to find James is in his room with a massive pile of cuddly toys and he was telling me he was DEFINATELY taking Peter (my cuddly penguin who goes everywhere with me). So that's another suitcase to squeeze in then. Last year we couldn't squeeze all the luggage into the Mondeo - the new mondeo has a bigger boot!!!! Perhaps you guys are startin to understand just how much I don't get those camping holidays people here rave over.
