Egluntyne
Crikey! How long have you had it?
Gamebird
Personally I wouldn't use anything that had gone mouldy. I could be wrong but mould is a fungus which could be harmful to the chickens. Maybe someone else will come along and say it is OK and then you won't feel so bad about buying it in bulk
stoice
Maybe only use it on your compost heap instead of putting it near your chooks. That way it's not entirely wasted.
Lewis
I agree with stoice, put it on the compost. How long have you had it and did it get wet?
Olly
Mine did that. I was waiting till I'd used up the garlic powder, kept it int the garage which is a bit damp, and one day I noticed it was growing green fur. I was very cross as it's not cheap, and I hadn't even opened the bag!
LJ's Chooks
I had one new bag and one half used bag... only had it for 2 months. RUBBISH! The thing is it's great and the chooks love it but it always seemed a bit damp when i bought it but thought nothing of it. compost heap it is! thanks everyone.... Paola
What a pain was it stored in the garage/shed? Might be worth storing the next lot in the kitchen.
jomaxsmith
Oh no. I've got my lot in the chicken feed dustbin the shed because I can't stand the smell so won't have it in the house. I hope mine's ok I would complain to wherever you bought it. Jo
