Clur
We've all been a bit down since losing our dog, and my mum and dad were aware of how much it affected DS. It's not practical to get another dog, so my fantastic mum and dad have 'adopted' two dogs from the Dog Trust for my DS (6) and DD (3). These are dogs that can't be rehomed for a variety of reasons, but are healthy enough not to be put down. The kids get a certificate, can write to 'their' dog, check them out online, and they will receive cards at Christmas, Valentines Day and in the Summer. How nice is that...! Ain't Nobody Here
What a nice idea . How lovely that they make the effort not to put dogs down, even if they can't be rehomed .
