stoice
I don't really eat fish (Apart from the battered kind with chips! ) so I have a fishy question. I work as a packaging artworker (Bit like a graphic designer) Basically i set all the copy that goes on the products packaging, with it's design and make it print-ready. Ok bear with me - it's chicken related I promise! Well I'm in the middle of a canned fish range, there are loads to artwork! Anyway, I've noticed that some of the Tuna tins do not have omega 3 whereas the salmon has omega 3 AND vitamin D. Do you think that a tin of skinless and boneless salmon with no added salt would be beneficial for the chooks? I'm thinking as a boost of protein but also the omega 3 would help with the eggs contents and the Vitamin D would help with calcium absorbing. What do you guys think? Pampered chooks getting tinned salmon... sh, don't tell the OH!!!
Egluntyne
I don't see why not. I'd give it a try.
dancing cloud
I've been giving my ex-batts tuna for a couple of weeks now, as it was recommended for helping their feathers grow. They love it , but fat Puddy is utterly distraught at them getting her very favourite food on the planet and has installed some kind of alarm system in the kitchen so every time I open tuna, she's at my feet begging shamelessly. I'm sure salmon would be excellent for the scoffalots, but I have a feeling Pud would suffocate me in my sleep if I gave them that as well
