On monday l saw somthing about chickens and the cube on itv1 but the kids would not let me listen.Did any one catch it and could tell me what it was about.

Did you see the mezzanine floor she had in the cube run?

 

Do you think she used the wooden bars from her Cube to make it? This is giving me ideas.

Thanks mollymo they are great pics.I love have hens. They are really making an inpact on people that dont have them.A friend of mine saw that on the news now shes thinking of getting some. Mine are running about my garden and enjoying the soft dirt from all that rain we had.

We have a breakfast bar in our run! Was made from a length of worktop that hubby had left over! They have their water and any treats on there! It also provides a good shelter for their food underneath and keeps it dry also for a good dust bath all year round!

Good grief! I thought my chickens were pretty urban, but Ealing is practically the sticks compared to Hoxton and (tee hee) Peckham! Well done those people!

The guy that was doing the report was at the Hen Party that we attended!!!! he said it was for a program but didn't say which one, so was nice to see the report even if kathryn who ran the HP didn't get a mention!!!
