Electricbarbarella
I have never seen any mention of any. BHWT only seems to have rescues organised for July and August, do you know if they only do it at these time or if the website can not be updated until close to the dates? buffie
I heard my name I actually work for the Charity, not my day job but I give a good portion of time outside that. I chose to work for the Charity because of the big picture, it's not just rehoming hens but educating consumers, working WITH British farmers for a fair price for their eggs and working with the British egg industry. It's a really professional organization, Jane is a wonderful leader and the dedicated team are so hard working. I was inspired to contact Jane over 3 years ago as I finally understood I could make a difference just by changing what I put in my basket, that was powerful to me. Hence my role now SO my answer is there's only one rescue organization that is working to bring hens out of cages for good, not emptying them to fill again and working with the industry approval and for the Farmers, BHWT. I really can't comment on others sorry. Buffie x
