BERTIE MCSQUIRTY
my hubby works long hours - last week i traipsed off to the bike shop and ordered him a new bike for his birthday on monday 3 yr old hattie was riding round the shop test driving the smaller bikes when i placed the order. i told my eldest (aged 7) that it was a surprised birthday gift for dad and not to tell. when dad came home later - he had no sooner got in the door and hattie told him he was having a surprise bike for his birthday - but not to tell anyone as it was a secret. she told him the colour of it and when we were going to pick it up. i thought i had played it down to dad until 7 year old went mad at his sister and told her that it was a secret and shouldn't have told dad! well - lesson learned now
Gamebird
Aw, Bless. The innocence of a 3 year old. However, never under-estimate their hearing ability.

Tiggy
my friend has a similar story - she loves this really expensive dress shop but normally only browses, a few weeks ago she saw this dress she could not resist her little girl said she looked like a princess so she had to buy it, she told her little one that it was a secret & she would wear it for a special occassion to suprise daddy. As soon as Daddy came home little one wispered Mummy has a secret suprise princess dress but I'm not supposed to tell

chili pepper
Oh dear, don't you just love 'em!! I remember one christmas my hubby had taken our youngest son shopping for my present, he must of been about 3/4 years old at the time. When they returned home after being sworn to secrecy, my son gladly announced 'we've got your christmas present and I'm not allowed to tell you what it is, but you've got no handbags and no purses' !!!!
