I am so happy . We got our 3 girls in may and 2 have been laying regularly, but Audrey didn't want to squeeze one out . However, today we had 3 eggs. I am so please that Audrey is not a dud .

 

so to anyone out there who's chickens aren't laying. I think the moral of the story is to be patient (and tickle their tail feathers as often as possible!!!)

I've been waiting for lemon my Maran to lay for about 3 weeks now, ( still waiting) shes got the lovely red comb and wattles cant tell if she crouching because she runs away when you go near her.

 

Still out of 7 chooks only 1 is laying the others are approaching POL though,

 

The first egg is amazing though isnt it, i sent my OH a picture message of Esmes first egg when he was in a meeting.
