Yolky
We went to see Lee Evans last night and he made me laugh so much during much of the second half I actually thought I may vomit from laughing so much. He was brilliant and he was on stage making us laugh (except for a 15min break) for 3 hours Best.night.ever
clootie
I'm constantly amazed at the energy that guy has. I've never seen him live but would like to very much. Bet you ache today Yolky!!
surferdog
My boys saw him here a few months ago. They waited at the stage door after the show and he chatted to them for ages. He was even planning to join them for a drink at the pub until his manager dragged him away! They had a really great time and said he's one of the nicest people they've ever met. jomaxsmith
I saw him over 10 years ago and remember being really put off by the fact he swore constantly. I'm no prude but the constant use of obscenities made me not be able to concentrate on the humour! Perhaps he's mellowed since I remember he was incredibly sweaty though! Yolky
He had to change his suit half way through coz of the sweat lol! Jomax, he did swear last night but not really very much. I have also seen Jimmy Carr and Jack Dee and have found Lee Evans to be the least sweary out of them all.
Cinnamon
He is fantastic, isn't he? When I was pregnant with Devon, who is now 15,we went to see Jack Dee at Reading, & Lee Evans was the warm up act. He was so funny that we actually left after his performance,as we figured it couldn't get much better than that (& the baby was playing football with my bladder too ) He did his famous 'Bohemian Rhapsody' I have NEVER seen a man sweat so much in my life! susiepoos
We saw Lee Evans a couple of weeks ago at the Philharmonic in Liverpool - couldn't believe our luck as I had struggled to find tickets at the MEN for November - managed to get 4 front row tickets!!!!!! My 14 year old son adores him and he's had such a rough year with his health we thought it would be a great suprise - he thought he was going to see Batman at the pictures!!!!!! When we got inside the Phil he said he saw the little table and towel on the stage and thought it could be Lee Evans but thought he'd never play at such a small venue. People in the row behind us had overheard our conversation and were amazed that he didn't know who he had come to see so they were winding him up as well saying Status Quo were excellent and the Spice Girls as support was a great choice!!!!!! Poor Rob didn't know what was going on - when they announced Lee's name I thought Rob was going to cry!!!!!!!!!! We had a fabulous evening - he is just sooooooooooooooo funny. We met him after the show and took some photos and got his autograph - what a lovely man he is!!
