I love to hear about people's bargains they've bagged at carboots/charity shops/ebay etc. I know plenty of us use freecycle too which is even better, i was just wondering about people's purchases!

 

I went to one last weekend and bought a Rosewood puppy cage, brand new, the family had bought the wrong size, easy thing to do, was £69.99 on the net, they were asking £15!!

 

I also bought a huge rabbit plastic and cage house thing for £2!

 

Both of these were of course for the girls rather than for a puppy or a rabbit! OH was like !

Not me, but my friend bought a little Hummel Statue for 20p and then sold it on for a couple of hundred quid.

I love carboots, but I never seem to get the really good bargains. Apart from my coffee table in my living room. I got that from a car boot for £8, when it would have been over £100 to buy brand new

Not at a car boot sale so hope I'm allowed in . Once saw an ad in Safeway for a Playmobil castle for £40. There was loads of it, almost brand new, worth about £150. The grandparents had bought it but the kids' house was too small for them to play with it .
