We became the very proud owners of 3 more ex-batts this afternoon, courtesy of the Surrey BHWT.

 

They'd been home literally 20 minutes and Mooney (so named because she has a bare bum and my husband said she was inadvertantly mooning at him! Well it's better that Baldy Bum...) found the dustbath and got stuck in The other 2 soon followed. It is truly amazing how quickly the instincts take over when given half a chance.

 

They haven't quite worked out where to roost for the night yet but there's a torch in the eglu to help them. I'm sure they'll get it eventually.

I finally worked out how to get the photos off hubby's camera!

We decided to call the other 2 girlies Shiraz (because she's got no feathers on her neck and we "neck" a lot of Shiraz) and Trilby because of her comb.
