Phonix
I seem to be on a roll with posting topics at the mo...sorry guys. I just bought some ready seeded pomegranate(sp?) at Asda and opened it to eat just now and thought it tasted a bit chemically/perfumey. I thought maybe it was just me so asked a friends opinion but she said the same - they don't even smell right!! They were £1 and I know its not much but if all the packets are the same I wouldn't like to think of anyone giving it to their children Do you think I should take it back tomorrow? xXx
Snowy
Sorry to be dense, but what is a ready seeded pomegranate? Surely a pomegranate is a pomegranate, they all have seeds in the middle? Having said that, if you think it tastes funny, then definitely take it back! Ah, I've just realised, was it a pack of the seeds only without the skin that you bought? (never seen them sold like this though)
Egluntyne
If it doesn't taste right...I'd take it back. I've bought "ready seeded" pomegranite before, to tart up a fruit salad.
Guest
£1 for a few seeds!!!!! good grief. I think pomegranites are expensive enough on their own without being de-seeded!
Looney
I would take it back if it tastes funny Pomegranates can be quite perfumy in taste. My Gran used to give me half a pomegranate and a pin to use to eat the seeds - kept me occupied for hours!
