having been delighted with my , I'm happily awaiting my delivery in October. It has belatedly occurred to me that I am not at all clear about the feeders included.

 

The photos on the Cube product pages are wrong - they show the Eglu shade, the glug and grub. I know the Cube shade is a different shape and that the Glug has been replaced by the SuperGlug. What about the Grub? Is it still the same Grub that comes with the Eglu? I am not sure if that would hold enough food for 6 hens. One of the photos on the Cube product details seems to show a different feeder, but i can't get a decent view of it.

 

Can anyone who has received a recent Cube (or someone from Omlet) explain to me what actually arrives?

I have a cube and an eglu and the feeders are the same for both. They hold loads of feed, mine never get to the bottom of it.

Maybe I have five gannets instead of chickens --- they've scoffed two feeders worth in four days...

I got my cube last month. It came with the superglug and an ordinary size grub. Mine rarely get to the bottom of their pellets so it hasn't been a problem (but there are only 4 in the cube at the moment, the other three are separate and on different food).

Yes.....it is an ordinary grub that arrives.

 

There was talk originally about some sort of super feeder, but it didn't materialise.

I bought extra feeders for my cubes and eglu as my girls are gannets.

 

I also bought a glug for each of the cubes as some of my girls prefer the superglug and some prefer to get their heads into the water and have a good old gulp.
