Went to pick up three hens from BHWT today. They are sweet, but a little shell shocked. They are in the run and don't seem to know what to do. Bless!

Thanks for all your messages. Egluntine glad to hear Piper is getting on fine, she is a beautiful hen. The new girls are settling in well. Had to put two of them in the eglu last night because they didn't know where to go and we have already had three eggs although one laid hers on the roosting bars and it smashed. Their nails are very long, do they need to be trimmed or will they wear down over time? Also do their beaks grow back?
