GreenGirl
how cute is this, thinking of starting a sideline in jumpers for ex-batts , although thinking about it, my pecked Hermione might fancy one for Christmas http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/3047259/Hen-that-lost-feathers-in-battery-farm-given-knitted-jumper.html

HENthusiastic
Awwww what a sweetie. I'm not normally one for animals in clothes, but it must be very chilly for ex-batts when they first come out even if they are fully feathered. SO to come out bald, into the natural weather must be quite a shock to the system. I have often thought about the ex-batts that come out of the factorys in winter, must be a shock to them. Poor little mites.
