mostin
I think we could power a small village with the amount I tip on our compost heaps each week.

MedusA
I think I could power Sheffield with the amount my lot produce. Substitute Birmingham and I'd say the same!
Ain't Nobody Here
Someone should have told the Portugese . They've just spent millions on Scottish developed wave power generator thingies (that's the technical term ).
HENthusiastic
Sounds like a great idea to use chicken poop to produce energy / power. My only worry would be that we all know the easiest and financially most viable way of collecting chicken poop, would actually probably be a battery farm. I hope they dont use this as a reason / excuse to contiue suffering for birds. It would be great if they used poop from birds who are already out there living happy lives. Not so great if they started treating birds as commodities to produce poo. We dont want 'them' finding new and horrible ways of keeping chickens, just to get their 'by products'. Sorry to go all heavy on this previously happy threat
