Cannot belive how much I paid for them. More than my outfit. Pointy toes, laced. High heels and SO comfy. The bag to match is also fab Have not been able to wear real shoes since dog broke my foot accidentaly 2 years ago. only feel comfy in wellies and flipflops. OK I was posh at dds wedding. Got stuck at 1st paving stone , and 2nd and 4th,went flat on my face each time:D , rescued by hotel owner.then got stuck with both heels in a grid at threshold of marridge room went flat on my face again. Not a g and t in sight. Sorry, something about shoes that brings the worse out of a woman

You think we are bad at spending lots of money on a pair of shoes , think again my son spent £80 on a pair of Hotters boots, but he did pay for them himself.

My OH said he could have bought a tyre for the Volvo V70 for that type of money.

Told him they are very special, very light weight and very comfortable for our son as they will help him during his work at college.

So you are not the only one with expensive tastes!

Got my new boots the other day that Alih raved about. Well worth the rave - they are the comfiest things I have ever put on my over large feet

what is it about shoes?, payed a mortgage payment for them, cannot wear them again because of getting 'stuck' in a grid, leather is all wrinkled up the heel. Still got the fab bag to match though.Jlo, what boots?, comfy matters, especially at my age

I have size 9 feet. I hate shoes. And shoe shopping . Grumble. Grumble.

I splashed out on some real ugg boots a couple of weeks ago - thank god for student discount Well worth it though! Like walking on clouds!

I think that it was on the thread about sheepskin slippers. Alih posted a link to kiwi sheepskin. They are based in New Zealand but ship over very reasonably. I managed to get a pair of size 10 boots and they are wonderful! They are not cheap but, compared to some Uggs and things, they are good value.

I bought some a couple of years ago and they are heavenly, aren't they. Mine are just about worn out now so I need to splash out on a new pair. I've tried fake Uggs but they're not a patch on the real thing for comfort and warmth.

No i bought some in primark for £7 and they had a hole in the sole within a few months - rubbish! I did however work out that the ugg boots would need to last 10 years to make them worth it as I would need to buy 2 pairs of primarks a year lol
