TAJ Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 Last night we were in a hurry to take our daughter out to cadets, then off out ourselves - I totally forgot to put the chickens away before we got in the car! I have never forgotten them before - it was only at 7am when my husband saw Nutmeg walking around the garden he realised we had left the eglu open all night! They were in the Omlet netting and we have never seen a fox in the garden and luckly all were safe and very happy with their early morning freedom today - but I felt awful. I've only had one near miss so far... a few months ago, I'd gone to bed, sat up reading, them y heart started pounding as I realised I'd forgotten to lock them in! It was half past eleven!
