hi guys, I am going to see Queen (the band not the person) at the O2 arena on the 7th of November. I am really excited, but I am also quite scared as I am quite little and I don't want to get squished between drunken old men.

 

Has anyone got any advice on how not to get squished!!??

Get there early and stand with your feet apart!

 

We took ES (then almost 5) to the Queen concert at the NEC in 2005, standing, and weren't squished at all.

 

We've just been to the concert in Nottingham with both boys (4 and 8 ) but had seats this time. Everyone was very well behaved and I didn't come across any drunks at either venue. I think Queen/Paul Rodgers fans are quite well behaved

I saw Queen at Wembly in '86. Found a seat in the side and didn't get squished.

 

Looking back - I guess we were sat in the side because he was really too straigh laced to be at a rock concert!

 

Was the best concert I've ever seen though! You'll have a fantastic time!

We are standing because there are no more seats left lol!! Do you think it will be really claustrophobic?? The thing is, my friend got squished at some other concert and broke her foot!!

Eeeeeeeeppp!! I just need to know how much space I will have to groove lol!!

Hold a drink, "Ooops, word censored!"ody likes getting a drink spilt on them! (and wear waterproofs!)

 

If you wear a big hat "Ooops, word censored!"ody will squish you from behind because they wont be able to see.

 

Most of all, just enjoy the concert and you might not notice any squishing!

Splash on copious amount s of "eau de chook" before you go. I guarantee there will be a 4 metre radius of dancing space around you !!

We went and saw them last night at the O2 - it was fantastic!

 

As long as you aren't right at the front of the standing area you wont get squished, I'd rather have been down there last night than sat up where we were - it did say that the 4th tier was steep and they weren't kidding!

I'm just worried that I won't have my precious personal space!! Did it look like fun!!??

 

Also I just found out I am going to the Kaiser Chiefs on Thursday!! my friend promised me that we could stand near the toilets, but considering that I fainted in science class today, and I had to be carried to reception I'm not sure I should be going. I'm not sure when it finishes but hey lol!!
