A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I just heard about this cockerel on the radio: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/7670294.stm He turned up as a chick on a housing estate and was adopted by several residents. But others don't like his crowing. There is a 'save the cockerel' facebook campaign! Anna x

Paola
What a shame but at least he now has a home that is safe from eviction
Janty
Poor Basil. He does need some chicken friends though. At least he would have some lovely girlfriends if he went to the farm.

Gamebird
What a handsome boy he is. I have a very limited knowledge of chickens and cockerels but he does look a bit like a Welsummer cockerel. Does anybody know what he is?
