Late Autumn/Early Winter Get together?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was wondering if there was any chance of us arranging an un-oficcial get together in late autumn/early winter? I thought I'd bring the subject up before it is too later. At least with a prompt start we could get on with the planning!

Late autumn/early winter would probably need an indoor venue in case it's cold/raining/freezing. I'm not sure Burghley would be suitable for lots of people inside as it's a bit precious! We can all put our heads together and see if we can think of a vaguely central location which is either pretty or interesting with facilities indoors in case the weather's bad. Maybe a large garden centre or something along those lines as many of us are keen gardeners. Most of them have restaurants where we could take over and eat all the cake!

It would also be a good idea to find somewhere with either no entrance fee or a minimal one as that's going to be more attractive to people wanting to come  .

central location - food - no entrance fee...

err..

how about M&S foodhall in the Bullring, Birmingham?? 8)

If you organise it Martin you get to pick the date :D

That would be cool! Is a Sunday ok for everybody?

not really! but then most saturdays aren't either...

(Mondays are good - that's my day off! - but if it's half term I go away with the family... so - to cut a long story short - err.. go for it when you're free Martin.)
