moomin
I've no experience but thinking of doing this myself - 2 (or 3 ) - Pekin bantams to my two big girls. From reading on here you have to take the intros VERY slowly and have seperate accomodation for them from the start. It either works or it doesn't. If it doesn't work you would have to go on keeping them separate. But there are quite a few omleteers who have managed successfully to introduce smaller chooks. Tweety
I would love to have some frizzles but can't find any anywhere. Please let me know if you find some. As regards their suitability to be kept with your other girls, it all depends on size. There is some excellent advice in the FAQ section on introductions, which need to be done slowly, and you would need some separate housing for the new girls until they were fully integrated. I have 2 bantams living harmoniously with my big hens, so it can be done, but I took ages over the intros.

Tweety
Sarah, Thanks so much for the deatails of Brambles - I will give them a ring in the morning. It sounds as if you have everything you need for some new girls and I hope you get the ones you want. Good luck with the intros!

Tweety
Sarah I have just spoken to Brambles about Frizzles, and they have none available at the moment. They have some very young ones, but she hasn't been able to sex them yet and told me to ring her back in 4 weeks. Will let you know how I get on.
