koolchick
hello, i have had my chickens for a few days and i have been really trying to understand what to do with them as they are my first chickens ever. we keep four in a green eglu, and starting last night two of them have been producing orange poos, aswell as that, people have been posting about how much their chickens love raisens and pasta and other treats. mine dont seen to like them, they just turn their beaks up, i am thinking about phoning up omlet or going to the vets, do you think i have anything to be worried about. Christian
The poos will settle down soon. It is all new to them and they are probably still shy/nervous. Mine wouldn't touch any treats until they started laying. Then they would mug me for anything I gave them. If they are eating/drinking/scratching around, then I'm sure they are fine koolchick. Egluntyne
I agree.....don't worry just yet. They have not been accustomed to having anything other than pellets where they were raised, so will take a while to get the hang of treats.
