jackiepoppies
Hi everyone, Can anyone advise? These are on special offer at B&Q until Tuesday and as we've loads of painting to do, I was wondering if they are any good. Has anyone got one or used one and what is your opinion Many thanks, jackiex

Chickvic
Haven't got one but have seen them. DH thinks it's a great idea but there doesn't seem to be many colours to choose from. Although I would imagine they will expand the range.
abwsco
This question was asked on the board I mod on and it got fantastic reviews from everyone who'd got one. Only downside is the limited paint colours at the moment. HTH
Omletina Kyckling
How funny that these have come up, my dad asked me about these on Friday night and I did a bit of research on them. I read up about them on the internet and they either seem to get rave reviews from users or the opposite, people think they're a waste of money. I think most of the complaints were that they don't actually clean themselves very well and you end up having to do the clean cycle about 3 or 4 times and then end up washing the roller out anyway, so those reviewers said it'd be cheaper to just buy a new roller each time. Most thought that they put paint on well, but again, there were others who thought they were useless. A lot of people said that the extension poles were inadequate so if you have tall ceilings bear that in mind. I think the main problem is like others have said, the lack of colours, plus the worry that if they don't sell well, they'll discontinue them and then you won't be able to get any paint for it (Dulux say you can only use their Paintpod paints) - if you look at the Dulux website, there is a great section on the paintpod with videos showing how to set up/use and clean. If you get one, let us know how you get on!! I've just finished my manual painting after two days at it, and I'm aching all over!! PS my dad decided not to bother, but he only has a small bungalow and decided it wasn't worth the investment over time...
