parmaviolet
I've found somewhere that sells Bokashi for £3.80 incl postage. the only problem is you need to order 10, so it's going to cost £38.00 I don't mind the cost (nothing is too good for my girls ) but is it any good? The girls free range over the garden all afternoon and I'd prefer the microbes in the soil not to build up. I suppose I could also use it in my compost heap to speed up the process. Is anyone else using it? Is it as good as it's cracked up to be, or is it a waste of time?
Richard and Jo
We have been using it for about 2 months and I am undecided as to whether it works. We put some in the droppings tray but that still smells. The bark does seem better with it but it is not the miracle its supposed to be. The chickens like eating it though
The Dogmother
I find that mixing it with their feed makes their poos smell less, and it is good to put in the run when you change the bark/Aubiose. It neutralsies any acid and 'nasty' microbes. Great on the compost heap too.
