Egluntyne
I would try the anti peck spray. Vicks Vaporub might help, but I wouldn't apply it to broken skin. Why not add a bit of extra protein to their diet to help them feather up?
chelsea
meal worms are good for protein, Im sure some people have fed cat food before (maybe someone may post who has).
Egluntyne
I give mine organic cat food during a moult. Chick crumbs are another good source of protein.
dancing cloud
My baldie ex-batts have been indulged over the months with cat food, tuna, dried mealworms and occasional grated cheese, and are now mostly looking like proper hens, with only two bald tummies/needing knickers and one naked neck. It does seem to take a long time for feathers to regrow, but when I look at their arrival photos and how totally bald they were, they are now completely transformed chooks Tubby Puddy has still never forgiven me for feeding them with tuna though

I too they should be huge but aren't & think the same, not featherd enough till you look at [photos or someone visits that hasn't seen them since the sun shone!
