4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

It arrived bright and early this morning and as soon as my DH came home he was sent out to start the cube's construction (overseen of course by me - lol). We have got it all put together but as we are going to be attaching it to the outside of our walk-in run we needed to do a bit more run adaption than we were expecting because of the ladder. Will post some pictures of our handywork in case anyone else is going to do the same in the future. Sadly we ran out of light today so will finish it in the morning .

 

Off tomorrow afternoon to pick up our new girls, a Cream Legbar, Speckled Sussex and a Leghorn (not sure what colour yet as I think they have more than just white available). I'm really excited, we then have some introductions to oversee over the next few days/weeks.

 

Even though my original girls are still in their Eglu this evening, they were looking longingly at the Cube as it was put together and I'm loving it already, particularly the not having to bend down to clean out etc. It's so roomy too.

Enjoy the new arrival. I love the cube and my girls obviously do as the eglu crowd moved in with the cube lot some time ago through choice.
